Apgar Campground

Apgar campground is located in West Glacier- Glacier National Park. We like it as a homebase when visiting the Park. It's the largest campground in the Park and is close proximity to the West Glacier entrance. From the campground you can easily walk to Apgar Village, where you can find food, stores, horseback rides, boat rentals, a free shuttle service, and Red Bus tours. The campground is sheltered by trees and sits on Lake McDonald. A local favorite is to drive into Apgar to watch the sunset over Lake McDonald.
