Crown Guitar Workshop and Festival 2017

The Crown Guitar Workshop and Festival, (formerly known as the Crown of the Continent Guitar Workshop and Festival) holds its annual Workshop and Festival in the stunning lakeshore location at Flathead Lake Lodge during the last week of August each year. The event  includes performances by leading national and international guitarists in the genres of jazz, rock, blues, classical, acoustic, singer-songwriter and beginner. The workshop offers group instruction, clinics, lectures, master classes and opportunities for private lessons for both students and professional musicians.  Ample opportunities are provided for artistic and personal interaction with the instructors and Artists in Residence during the week.

The Crown Guitar Festival is open to the public and features nightly performances by the guest Artists in Residence plus the elite faculty artists as well as invited rhythm musicians and workshop students. 

Artists schedule to appear Aug. 27- Sept. 2, 2017 include: Jerry Douglas, David Lindley, Jason Vieaux, Mike Stern, Leni Stern, Brent Mason, Sonny Landreth, Emily Elbert plus surprise guest artists.

The Crown Festival Tent and Stage is located on the grounds of Flathead Lake Lodge and seats approximately 900 people.
