Lakeside Swiss-inspired lodging makes this 1915 hotel a convenient base for hiking Glacier's largest concentration of trails. Many Glacier Hotel is situated on the shores of Swiftcurrent Lake and rests at the base of Mt. Grinnell where five mountain valleys intersect. The 215 rustic yet comfortable rooms have double beds and/or twin beds with private baths. Rates are based on view or room size.
The hotel has five floors accessed by stairs. Suites facing Swiftcurrent Lake are located on floors one, two, and three. It is the largest hotel within Glacier Park and is operated by the National Park concessioner, Xanterra Parks & Resorts.
The hotel was declared a National Historic Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
