Town of Claresholm, Alberta

Claresholm is an agricultural centre for the region. It sits at the foot of the Porcupine Hills where the plains meet the foothills. Highway 2 runs through the town, so it makes for a great stop during your travels. The town offers a variety of restaurants and quaint downtown shopping. Before leaving town make sure to check out Claresholm & District Museum, Willow Creek Provincial Park, or one of the many municipal parks.

  • Claresholm & District Museum was established in 1969 and continues to preserve and exhibit the history of Southern Alberta. A special feature is a 1912 CPR train station.
