Backslope Brewing

Backslope Brewing offers a laid back spot to reminisce about the day's adventures over a craft brew and delicious locally sourced food pairing. Located in Flathead Valley's "Gateway to Glacier", with views of the Swan Mountain Range, indoor and outdoor seating options make an ideal gathering place for residents and visitors alike year round.

The community was a big supporter of the brewery long before its doors opened in 2016, surpassing pledge goals on a Kickstarter campaign to help it get off the ground. At the helm of Backslope Brewing are Darin and Carla Fisher. Darin worked as a US Forest Service Trails and Stock Manager and had been a longtime homebrewer and is an elected member of City Council in Columbia Falls and Carla managed a Montana Coffee Traders Cafe and was president of the ImagineIF Library Foundation before opening the brewery's doors. They both remain active in the community. If you have questions about the area or craft brewing you've come to the right place.
