Raptor Day/Birds of Prey Festival began in 2007 as a tribute to Rod Ash, an educator and conservationist, who worked throughout his life to bring people together to conserve the beauty and special character of Northwest Montana. The partnership between Flathead Audubon and Lone Pine State Park continues in this annual community event that celebrates our many unique species of birds.
