Why settle for a simple “taste” of Whitefish … when you can Feast to your heart (and stomach’s) content?
“Feast Whitefish” returns this May with a full week of amazing food & drink events, highlighting the very best that the Whitefish dining scene has to offer … and then some!
The Feast kicks-off on May 11 with the Annual Distiller’s Fest – an opening night cocktail party at Grouse Mountain Lodge featuring specialty cocktails (and spirits) from 10 different Montana micro-distilleries, including; Spotted Bear Spirits, Glacier Distilling Company, Whistling Andy’s and distilleries and a n all-star line-up of amazing appetizers from top Whitefish eateries.
May 13-17 it’s Restaurant Week at the Feast, a 5-day culinary affair where locally owned-and-operated restaurants offer incentives for patrons to revisit their favorite restaurants and experience new ones. Each night participating restaurants will offer a special, fixed-price Feast Week dinner menu that’ll knock your socks off!
On May 14 is a fine dining highlight of this year's Feast will be the Grand Gala winemaker dinner … a creative culinary collaboration prepared by six of the most popular – and talented -- chefs in the northern Rocky Mountains, accompanied by award-winning wines.
May 18 the focus shifts from fine food to burgers and beer, as The Pine Lodge hosts the “Burger Battle”. Local restaurants and bars will try to “wow” the crowd – and the judges – with their take on the “ultimate” burger, and compete for the fame and fortune that come with being known as the undisputed Burger-Meister of Big Sky Country … all while sampling Great Northern Brewing Company brews!
“We know that it’s physically impossible to savor all that the Whitefish culinary scene has to offer in just a few days time,” says Whitefish Chamber director Kevin Gartland, “but if you’re dying to try, Feast Whitefish is just the ticket!”
Feast Whitefish is presented by the Whitefish Chamber of Commerce, and supported by Kalispell Toyota, the Pine Lodge/Best Western Rocky Mountain Lodge, Whitefish Credit Union, the Flathead Beacon and dozens of fine local restaurants, catering companies, bars, breweries, micro-distilleries and distributors.
