Fishing Highlights

Lynx Creek is home to a population of native cutthroat trout and a pod of surprisingly big bull trout. The bull trout are all but impossible to catch but you can watch them lurk in the deep, long pool not far below the waterfall on the lower creek.

Driving Directions from Nearest Town or Landmark

From the Crowsnest Pass community of Blairmore, follow Sartoris Road south. Sartoris Road parallels north-flowing Lyons Creek until it crosses the height of land into the Castle Special Management Area, after which it soon converges with south-flowing Lynx Creek. Follow Sartoris Road to its intersection with Carbondale River Road. Lynx Creek disappears into the Carbondale River just south of the bridge over Carbondale Road.
