Local Knowledge & Certifications/Training
When Link Neimark isn’t on a ski slope, you will most likely find him in Kootenai National Forest with a climbing harness. Safety is a top priority for the company. He is certified by the American Mountain Guide Association (AMGA), Professional Climbing Guides Institute (PCGI) and Boy Scouts of America. Link is the founder and head instructor at Rock Climb Montana, which is based in Whitefish, Montana. He has 16 years of experience as a professional climbing instructor and caters to all ages and abilities. In fact, some of his youngest climbers are under the age of five while others are in their mid-seventies. Before Link became a ski and rock climbing instructor, however, he worked in Alaska as a fish and game biologist.
Sustainable Practices
Rock Climb Montana operates under a US Forest Service permit, and instructors teach the ‘Leave No Trace’ ethic.
Community Involvement
While the business mostly caters to families visiting Glacier National Park, it also provides climbing instruction for Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, and the Whitefish Parks and Recreation youth summer programs.
