Whitefish River Stand Up Paddle Board Route

Start in Whitefish Lake at City Beach, or put in at one of the foot path accesses along the rivers edge. Either way, this is a really beautiful, charming, urban float that's right in our backyards! Partly shaded and wooded, you will pass under several beautiful pedestrian foot bridges and the Burlington Northern Railway trestle. Commonly seen along the route are whitetail deer and waterfowl. This is a non-motorized stretch of waterway, which makes it an especially peaceful float and fun for stopping and swimming. Gentle and easy paddling for the whole family.
